How would you plan a proposal that doesn't feel cliché?

My girlfriend and I have been together for three years, and I'm finally ready to propose. I really don't want to book some fancy restaurant, wait for dessert, and pull out a ring at the table because that just feels way too predictable for us. I'd love to make it more personal and give her a story we'll actually laugh about and remember years from now, but I'm completely out of ideas. How would you set something like this up without turning it into a huge production? And what kind of engagement ring would you buy for the occasion?

Don't make yourself crazy trying to invent something nobody on Earth has ever done before. She'll probably care a lot more that the proposal feels like the two of you than whether it would get a million views on TikTok. Pick a place tied to something from your relationship, like where you first met, had your first proper date, or took a trip you both still talk about, and build the evening around that. Keep the actual proposal private enough that she can react without twenty strangers staring at her, then have friends or family waiting somewhere nearby if you want to celebrate afterwards.

The ring is probably where I'd do a little quiet detective work before buying anything. Take a look at the jewellery she already wears and notice the metal, stone shapes, and whether her taste runs simple or a bit more decorative. That gives you something real to work with when you start looking at engagement rings, and there are some here: https://pierrejewellery.com/katalog/engagement-rings . Check a few styles that match what she normally wears and save the ones that feel closest to her taste. And if you can borrow one of her rings for sizing without giving the game away, even better.
