Ethiopia stood when Africa was being divided.

At Adwa, Black people showed the world that freedom could be defended, dignity could not be negotiated, and Africa was never meant to bow forever.

They may have occupied parts of Ethiopia for a season, but they never conquered its soul.

Ethiopia remains a reminder: Africa has always had the strength to rise, govern itself, protect its culture, and define its own future.
