In short:- Report anything that worries you — a post, a message, a person, a page, or a live room.
- Block and mute tools are available on every profile, and blocking is immediate and one-directional.
- Reports go to a real Trust & Safety review team, not just a filter.
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first — CelebIsland is not an emergency response service.
If you are in immediate danger
CelebIsland cannot dispatch emergency help. If you or someone else is in immediate physical danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person near you first. Once you are safe, you can also report what happened to us.
Reporting on CelebIsland
Every post, comment, message, profile, page, group, and live room has a Report option. Reports are queued into our Trust & Safety review system (the Security Operations Centre), where staff review what was reported — serious reports (threats, child safety, self-harm) are prioritised.
Blocking and muting
- Block a user from their profile to stop them from contacting you, seeing your profile, or interacting with your content. Blocking is immediate and the other person is not told who blocked them.
- Mute lets you stop seeing someone’s posts without unfollowing or blocking them.
- You control who can message you, comment on your posts, and see your profile from your privacy settings.
Live features: Airwave, Spaces, TV
Hosts of a live Airwave show or Space can remove and block participants from their own room in real time. Report a live room the same way you would report a post, and it reaches the same review team.
Protecting your account
- Use a password you do not use anywhere else, and never share it.
- Be cautious of anyone asking you to move a conversation off-platform, send money, or "verify" your account by giving out your password or a one-time code.
- Scams involving fake investment schemes, romance scams, and "yahoo" fraud are explicitly against our Community Standards — report them.
