Why this exists

CelebIsland is a shared space. These Community Standards explain, in plain language, what is and is not allowed here, on top of the rules already set out in our Terms of Use. They apply to every post, comment, message, page, group, live broadcast, Space, Airwave show, story, product listing, and profile on the platform, in every language.

Authentic identity

• Use your real identity, or a clearly labelled stage/creator name. Do not pretend to be another real person, brand, or organisation.
• One account per person, unless it is a declared Page or business account run on your behalf.
• Fan and tribute pages about celebrities and public figures are welcome, but the page description must say it is a fan page and not an official or endorsed account.

Safety and abuse

• Zero tolerance for sexual content involving a minor. Any account found doing this is banned immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.
• No threats of violence, no organised harassment, no encouraging anyone to hurt themselves or others.
• No hate speech targeting a person or group based on tribe, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
• No sharing of someone else’s private information (address, phone number, ID documents, private images) without their consent.

Honesty

• No fraud, "yahoo" scams, fake investment or giveaway schemes, phishing links, or fake job offers.
• No coordinated fake accounts, bot activity, engagement farming, or artificially inflated views/likes/followers.
• No spreading content you know to be false in a way designed to deceive people about something important (health, elections, public safety).

The Marketplace, Jobs, and paid features

Selling and hiring on CelebIsland follow the extra rules in our Marketplace Terms, Seller Policy, and Buyer Protection Policy. No illegal goods, counterfeit items, or restricted items may be listed.

Live rooms: Airwave, Spaces, and TV

The same standards apply live as they do to a post — on Celeb Airwaves shows, Spaces conversations, and CelebIsland TV. Hosts are responsible for what happens in a room they run and can be held to the same standards as a page or group admin. Some live rooms may be recorded (the host is shown a recording toggle and must have it switched on for a session to be saved).

How we enforce this

Reports go to our Trust & Safety review queue (the Security Operations Centre), where a real person looks at what was reported before action is taken on anything serious. Depending on what happened, we may:

• Remove the specific content
• Restrict a feature (for example, temporarily stop someone from going live or posting)
• Suspend or permanently close the account
• Report the matter to law enforcement, where the law requires it or someone is at risk
