Appeals Policy

In short:

If we remove your content or restrict/suspend your account, you can appeal.
Appeals go to a real member of our Trust & Safety team, not the same automated flag that may have triggered the action.
We will tell you the outcome once it has been reviewed.
Some actions — especially child safety violations — are not reversed on appeal.

When you can appeal

You can appeal if CelebIsland has:

Removed a post, comment, photo, video, or other content of yours
Restricted a feature on your account (for example, temporarily blocked from posting or going live)
Suspended or closed your account
Removed a Market listing or restricted your Market access

How to appeal

If your account was restricted or suspended, you will typically see an option to explain your side directly where the restriction was applied. You can also appeal any of the actions above at any time by emailing support@celebisland.com with:

Your username
What was removed or restricted, and when
Why you believe it was a mistake

What happens next

A member of our team who was not part of the original decision reviews your appeal against our Community Standards and Terms of Use, along with the notes from the original report or case. We will tell you the outcome once it is decided. We do not currently publish a fixed turnaround time for every appeal, because case complexity varies — if your appeal is taking a long time, you can follow up on the same email thread.

Outcomes

Upheld — the original decision stands, with the reason explained
Reversed — the content, feature, or account is restored
Partially changed — for example, a permanent suspension reduced to a temporary one

What is not eligible

Confirmed child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, and matters already referred to law enforcement are not reopened through this appeals process.
