Reports from Zamfara indicate that troops of the Nigerian Army’s COAS Intervention Battalion 3 under 8 Division, alongside personnel of the Mobile Police Force and the Air Component of Joint Task Force are currently engaged in a fierce encounter with a large group of armed bandits along the Zamfara–Kebbi border.

The bandits, reportedly numbering around 240, are said to have emerged from the Sangeko Gap in Zamfara State before advancing towards Makuku town in Kebbi State. Source - #alarmingafricatv #celebislandnews
