Uzoamaka Nwanneka Aduba, born in Boston in 1981 to Igbo Nigerian parents, is an American actress. She played Suzanne Warren on Orange Is the New Black from 2013 to 2019 and Shirley Chisholm in Mrs. America in 2020. She has won three Primetime Emmy Awards, and in 2025 she starred in the Netflix series The Residence.
