Open a room from Browse forum, for example The Island Lounge, then use the "New thread" button at the top. Give it a clear headline, write your post, optionally pick a tag such as Question, Advice, Gist or Warning, and publish. Posting a thread or a reply, in your first 7 days on CelebIsland, cannot contain a link, to keep new accounts from being used for link spam.
Yes. Use the Follow button on any room or thread to get notified about new activity there. Starting a thread or posting a reply automatically follows that thread for you too, so you never miss a reply to your own post.
Only the person who started the thread (or a moderator) can mark one reply as the helpful answer. It gets a highlighted badge at the top of the replies so other members can find the real answer quickly, without reading the whole thread.
Open My Threads or My Replies from the top of the forum to see everything you have posted. From there you can open, edit, or remove your own threads and replies. Removed content is taken down, not shown to other members, the same way the forum's moderators handle reported content.
