African China, born Chinagorom Onuoha, is a Nigerian reggae and dancehall singer who performs largely in Nigerian Pidgin. He became widely known in the mid 2000s for socially critical songs, notably Mr President, which addressed governance and hardship. His albums include Crisis and Mr President.
