The mattress I sleep on is great but there are a few features that could be improved upon. One of the things I would like is a deeper mattress. Having spent the last 30+ years sleeping on 4cm mattresses, I thought that I have missed the boat and decided to get the 40cm mattress from The Frame Store. Here are the pros of the 40cm deep mattress from The Frame Store.
Shallow or Too Deep?
Whilst it is nicer to sink into a bed, it is a bit of a pain to get to the mattress. Also, when you wake up in the morning, it is rather uncomfortable to have sore, aching muscles.
We all look for mattresses which have a good level of support and this is the case for the 40cm mattress. I would say I am a fair sleeper. I am not prone to back pain or joint problems but I do have a pretty solid back and shoulders. The 40cm mattress has not failed me in that respect, in fact it has actually been even more supportive than the 12cm mattress.
Good Support
When I put my feet in the foot end and sit up, the support you get is excellent. Both my feet and both my shoulders are well supported when sat up, no sway in my shoulders or aches in my feet. This support even applies when I lie on my back, my shoulders are well supported and I cannot feel any lumps. Read more info about 40cm Deep Mattress
When going under the arms, the support is even better. The mattress does not sag at my shoulders, even under pressure when lying on my back.
Pillow Top
The 40cm mattress has a 4cm thick pillow top which helps to give extra support and comfort to the mattress. The pillow top is a soft and squishy material and has a nice feel to it. If you like a firm pillow top then it may not be for you but I find the pillow top soft enough for my liking.
Easy to find
One of the major problems with purchasing a mattress online is finding the size.
Luckily, The Frame Store offer a comprehensive guide which means that it is easier than ever before to find a mattress that will fit you. All you have to do is pick the mattress you want and follow the simple guide.
What mattress should you get?
In the end, it all depends on you. If you are like most people and have a tendency to roll around during the night and move around a lot when sleeping, then maybe you should opt for a mattress with extra support. If you are more of a pillow top, side sleeper then the soft pillow top would probably be better suited for you. Both mattresses will provide a good level of support and will make any long trips much more enjoyable.
