The amount of content available in Lost Ark, like that of any other MMO, is only growing. It is obvious that it is not even close to being on par with other online games such as World of Warcraft, but it has evolved into a game that offers a substantial amount of content on a daily basis, which has contributed to its growth. In order to achieve this goal, the developers at Smilegate have been collaborating with the player community in an effort to smooth out some of the rough spots in Lost Ark, which are preventing new players and returning players from joining the game. Smilegate is going to begin offering something that it is calling Jump-Start servers beginning in the month of September. These servers will enable users to rapidly advance through the ranks.
These Jump-Start servers in Lost Ark essentially provide players with an early pass that raises their starting Item Level to 1415. From that point forward, the progression on these servers should proceed much more quickly across the board. These servers will, of course, have their own independent matchmaking and party finder, as well as their own independent matchmaking and auction house. The progression curve won't be as steep on these servers, either. This should help alleviate some of the problems that Lost Ark has been having with both new and returning players as it will allow players to get into the thick of things much more quickly.
Of course, that is not everything that will be included in the update that will roll out in September. Yoz's Jar is an upcoming feature that will provide players with a new opportunity to re-roll the cosmetic items they obtain in the hopes of acquiring an item that better suits their tastes. Players now have the opportunity to participate in a new eight-player Legion Raid that takes place in Arthetine and pits them against the Plague Legion Commander. In addition, there are new options for the Combat Style Setting Support that allow players to set their skills and engravings with greater ease by using presets.
