What’s driving all these politicians to defect to APC is simple, they believe that in 2027, whatever Tinubu says or does for them will matter more than the actual votes of the people. They no longer believe in the power of the citizens’ votes. To them, votes don’t count anymore. As far as they’re concerned, Tinubu’s word carries more weight than democracy itself. With this kind of mindset, 2027 is already looking danger*us for Nigeria. My people, are we really going to keep sitting back and watching them destroy our democracy like this?
