The first Air Jordan 5 Quai 54 released in 2011 as part of Jordan Brand’s annual collection dedicated to the Parisian streetball tournament. For 2021, the brand will once again pay tribute to Quai 54 with another special edition Air Jordan 5.the model flaunts a favorable color scheme of “White/University Red-Black.” The sneaker’s clean white leather upper is nicely offset via geometric prints inspired by traditional African design and Parisian haute couture elements, on the inner lining, laces, and insoles. Finally, the Quai 54 logo is subtly prominent underneath the translucent netting and heel labels, while 3M reflective tongues and a white/red rubber sole tops it all off.
Taking part of the Air Jordan Quai 54 2021 Collection is a special edition colorway of the Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low.The Air Jordan 11 Low Quai 54 comes highlighted with White mesh on the base while Black and White vertical and horizontal lines adorn the mudguard overlay. Next, we have West African inspired fabrics on the lace loops, liner, and insoles, with Quai 54’s ‘Q’ logo on the lateral heel. Finally, an icy outsole finishes the look.
The Nike KD 13 EP Peace Day covers the textile upper of Kevin Durant’s 13th signature shoe in a psychedelic design inspired by the iconography of the ‘60s, including multicolor daisies, peace signs and smiley faces.A black base sets the stage for floral graphics varying in size and color, in particular across the Air Jordan 1-reminiscent heel flaps. “LOVE” and smiley face patches join the mix along the lateral profile; medial sides sport sideways peace-gestures and basketball embellishments. Elsewhere, the tongue and collar padding indulge in a more muted, but still playful palette, with the latter also featuring a retro-style “KD” logo. Lateral profile Swooshes and sole units don’t partake in the psychedelic aesthetic, but their respective transparent and predominantly off white makeups complement the shoe’s design well.
