Itunu was illegally arrested in Ivory Coast & when she went to Nigeria's embassy in for help, the embassy staff demanded 400,000 Naira bribe before they could do their job. Itunu died in prison in Ivory Coast because Nigeria failed her. An Ivorian police officer made a statement “She’s Nigerian,she will die here”. And it came to pass. Nigerians life doesn’t matter home and abroad,once you’re a Nigerian you’re on your own.
