The question bank
0 verified questions. Every one carries the source it was checked against. Ten are drawn per round, spread across the six categories.
Both players get the same ten questions in the same order and the two scores are compared afterwards. Nobody has to be online at the same time — no live connection needed.
A friend match is marked on the CelebIsland server, not in this page. That is the point: a score you can show someone else cannot be graded by the phone holding it.
How toplay
It takes about two minutes. Here is everything, and then you can go.
Ten questions, one right answer
A round is ten questions. Four options each, one of them correct. Tap it and you find out straight away.
The clock is part of the score
A correct answer is 100 points, plus up to 100 more for speed. Answer in the first second and you keep almost all of it. Let the clock run down and the bonus goes with it.
Streaks multiply everything
Two correct in a row is ×1.5. Three is ×2. Five is ×3, and that is the ceiling.
One wrong answer and you are back to ×1. That is where rounds are won.
Every answer shows its source
After you answer, the panel tells you what is true and where it was checked. Nothing here is guesswork — you can go and look.
The categories are mixed
Music, Nollywood, football, food and culture, geography and history, and Pidgin — shuffled together, spread across the ten. No two rounds are the same.
Two formats
Classic gives you fifteen seconds a question, one at a time.
Sprint gives you one 90-second clock for the whole round — answer as many as you can before it runs out. Everybody gets the same 90 seconds, so scores line up. Good for a group passing one phone around.
Sound
Small sounds are on by default. The button at the top of the screen turns them off, and it remembers.
Playing a friend works differently
A friend match is ten questions, one at a time, taking turns. No 15-second clock and no streak multiplier — the server runs that mode and it scores 100 a correct answer plus up to 50 for speed.
The questions come from CelebIsland and your answer is marked there. This page is never sent the right answer until you have both answered that question — otherwise anyone with two accounts could read the key off their own second screen.
Neither of you has to be online at the same time. Answer, close the app, come back tomorrow.
